Can’t believe it’s been a whole week, overall I think we’re still winning. Peter is healthy, we’ve got some sleep here and there, and we’ve got to spend a lot of time with his grandparents, aunts, and uncles. We were at the Doctor this morning for a checkup and they said he’s looking good, he’s now coming in at a whopping 7.1 lbs. It’s been a treat to spend a lot of time with him this week, now if we can only get him to sleep a little more at night we’d be golden. If you have any tips, I’m all ears.

Normally this time of year I’d be obsessively thinking about teeing it up on my favorite course or getting the docks in at the cabin once the ice melts, well I guess I’m still thinking a lot about all that stuff… but more importantly I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so we can spend some time outside with Peter. The Weiner Dogs are pumped to give him a tour of the neighborhood and we could definitely use a good walk outside. Our little house seems to get smaller each day as more of his gear makes its way out from storage. I wish I had more to say, but as most of you know newborns don’t do a whole lot besides eat, poop, cry and sleep, well I guess that’s about all I do too but you know what I mean. Now that we’ve settled in a bit I plan on shooting a lot more photos of him. I want to put him in a sub sandwich and take some photos but Vanessa won’t let me.

Monkey has really taking a liking to Peter, she checks him out every chance she gets. When he cries she becomes concerned and she’s never more than a few feet away from him. I have a feeling these two are going to cause trouble some day.
