I wouldn’t say we have any sort of routine yet, but things seem to be going a little smoother today. As our new parent panic levels slowly began decreasing I decided it was time to try and take some better photos of LP (Little Peter) Inspired by work from my friends Megan and Gwen I had a few ideas of some shots that I wanted to try and take. You should check out their work, amazing stuff. So far I’ve learned it’s not the easiest thing to capture those shots as LP decided he wanted to cry or move around every minute or so. Oh well, I had a good PA on staff today (LP’s Mom, Vanessa) she was able to calm him down often while I tried to dial in my camera. Overall LP was a treat to work with, I have a feeling he’ll hire me again soon.
And for my photo nerd friends, I decided to treat myself to trying out a new lens today. These were all shot with a 17-55 f/2.8. It’s a sweet lens, by far the best lens I’ve got to use on my D90. Maybe I should buy it? Vanessa?!? It’s an investment… Those words seem to justify any purchase.
Well here’s what I made today. Hope you like them.
