Hello friends, yes I know I’ve been slacking with the updates. My apologies. Things have been a little crazy. The new year has been very generous to my company and LP continues to be a handful so any free time has been spent sleeping or watching fishing shows while I day dream about spring. Me and LP are going to catch the big one this summer by the way.

Overall things have been awesome. I think the photo above sums up his latest attitude. He tends to have a bigger smile, but my point is he just loves hanging out. The older he gets, the more he just loves to chill and show you his new faces. Peter has been sleeping great and has had healthy checkups at the doctor. I continue to realize how much things have changed, I can’t just wake up on saturday morning and go work on my golf game. Instead I wake up, change diapers, play with the little man, put him down for a nap or two and next thing I know it’s noon and I’m still wearing my pajamas while watching the local news. (FYI I can’t stand local news) But that’s ok. I enjoy every second of it, not matter how loud he screams at me.

Peter has been growing quite a bit, he had a checkup last week and he’s officially gained about 5 lbs and grown about 4 inches. His grip is getting stronger too, can’t wait to get him clubs next year. I was at Golf Zone this weekend, it’s an outdoor heated driving range which is pretty luxurious for us Minnesotans. I got pretty excited when I saw a few Dad’s with their Little Dude’s working on their golf games. Can’t wait until LP and I go there and dominate the targets, of course we’ll bring the State Champ Uncle Larry for a few tips. (even though I taught him everything he knows)

A few weekends ago we left Peter with a babysitter for the first time. He’s had many outings with the grandparents, but no one else. This babysitter wasn’t just any old gal from the neighborhood. It was my sister, aka Aunt Lindsey, aka the other LP. For those of you that don’t know our family is full of LP’s: Lindsey Petrulo, Joe Larry Petrulo, Dad Peter Larry Petrulo, Lucy Petrulo (wiener dog diva)  and of course Little Peter aka Larry Petrulo aka LP. Lot’s of LP’s I know. I have a few ideas in mind for LP-wear like jerseys or hats or sweat suits. They are an exclusive club. Anyhow back to my sister Lindz… She took good care of LP. She had planned on watching him all day due to my commitment to helping my friend Jungle Jon move into his new place, but due to the fact he’s my remaining bachelor friend and he still owns only the bachelor necessities he was moved in before I even showed. Needless to say Aunt Linds took care of the little man and they’re going to be BFF’s for a long time. (as long as I keep him away from her crazy happy hour adventures)
